• Never Start Your Work Without Checking Your Air Hoses

The problem with being a handyman, you have to be very neat. You have to be responsible enough to check your things one by one. This is what I learned all throughout 15 years of providing repair service to my neighbors. I own a small repair shop in my garage and I have a couple of customers that come in daily. I allow around 1-2 days of waiting time before I complete the job.

The most used tool that I have is the air compressor. This makes it easier for me to handle pneumatic tools such as wrenches and screw drivers. I remember that there was this one time when I forgot to check my air hoses. I did not know that it has a hole in it. When It turned it one, everything was fine until the hose burst. I immediately stopped and saw that my workplace became a lot messy! I had no time to buy a new one since my friend was driving 30km just to pick up his radiator. When he arrived, explained everything to him. I knew that he was not mad but I can tell that he was disappointed. It really felt bad to see that I had disappointed a customer. Ever since that incident, I never failed to check my things at all.
